About the InstructorBob served for several years as the only full-time crime scene analyst for the Randall County Sheriff's Department. He also worked with the Potter/Randall County Special Crimes Unit. The Special Crimes Unit, a multi-agency, multi-county task force. While working in the law enforcement field, Bob had the opportunity to study with three of the top bloodstain analyst in the country. Following the advice of Tom Bevel, Bob began to teach bloodstain classes. He has since developed three levels of bloodstain classes. He has currently taught officers and/or lab personnel from more than twenty states, the Texas Rangers, United States Airforce, and the FBI. Bob has taught over 80 basic and advanced bloodstain classes. His students include officers from three foreign countries. As the owner of Henderson Forensics Bob is currently doing independent consultation in the areas of crime scene reconstruction, bloodstain analysis, and fingerprint identification. He is also actively involved in teaching a variety of crime scene programs, although he prefers teaching bloodstain analysis over the others. Bob served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Division of the International Association of Identification. He has lectured at several schools, colleges, and universities; and on occasion speaks to professional groups about crime scene analysis and bloodstain analysis. Bob has testified as an expert in bloodstain analysis and fingerprint identification. His testimony has been upheld by the appeals court in the State of Texas. |
